Redirect my WordPress articles to my website
-
Hi,
I have written about 30+ computer tutorials on my WordPress.com blog, but recently (about 3 months ago) built my own site. Is there any way that I am able to re-direct that traffic (from my WordPress blog) to my new site ( http://fuzzytutorials.com ) I understand that something similar is available by paying $12.00 per annum for this. I own the domain for my new site, but don’t get anywhere near the amount of traffic on my new site. (Bad SEO on my behalf probably)
Hoping this makes sense?
Kind regards,
Richard

Hi Richard. You can either put a note on your sidebar/header that your blog has moved (which is free) or pay for the site redirect upgrade:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/However, here’s a word of warning, since your new blog does not appear to be WordPress. All that this redirect will do is redirect your visitors to the “equivalent” of your address. For example, thegift73.wordpress.com/2011/07/26/how-to-sync-the-audio-or-subtitles-in-vlc/ will redirect to fuzzytutorials.com/2011/07/26/how-to-sync-the-audio-or-subtitles-in-vlc/ which, if it does not exist, will generate a “404 file not found” error.
