redirect old blog to new blog
-
I need to redirect the url of my old blog to a new blog and new blog url. Do I have to delete the old blog (lemeadowsfoodstories.wordpress.com) for this to happen?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I should say lemeadowspantry.com is the new blog url – lemeadowsfoodstories.wordpress.com is the old url.

Hi Geneviève,
Your blog at lemeadowsfoodstories.wordpress.com is currently using the custom domain name lemeadowspantry.com. Do you want to link that custom domain name to a different blog you own?
If so, you can move upgrades between sites from your My Upgrades page. You can click the cog icon next to your domain name lemeadowspantry.com and then click on “Transfer to another site” to move it to a different WordPress.com site (such as your site lemeadowspantry.wordpress.com).
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Can you please tell me if my old blog at lemeadowsfoodstories.com can redirect to my new blog at lemeadowspantry.com? Do I have to delete the content on the old blog?

Hi Geneviève,
You don’t need to delete the content on the old blog. If you just want to redirect your domain lemeadowsfoodstories.com to your new blog at lemeadowspantry.com, you can transfer that domain to your new blog from your My Upgrades page, too. That way, anyone who visits lemeadowsfoodstories.com will be sent to the other blog.
If you want to redirect all visitors (including people who try to visit your old blog at its address http://lemeadowsfoodstories.wordpress.com/ ) you can use a site redirect upgrade to do that.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
