Redirect on image is wrong, but cannot change. Image not in image library

    Sorry guys but I’m an absolute beginner…

    A website was built a few years back and the template was riddled with errors and I’m still finding and fixing them. This time I’m lost.

    I have an image on my main blog page that has a URL link associated with it that points back to the same page, rather than the Contact Us page. See the smiley image on the right hand side:

    Now I would love to either change the redirect URL; or get rid of the image/ code for this part of the page and start again with an image in a widget, but I have absolutely no idea how to get rid of it.

    Can someone please help?

    There is an excellent set of documentation for the Jericho theme at::

    You will find many insights into getting the most from your theme there.

    If you scroll the left sidebar down, you will come to the Extras section. That contains links to Help and Support..

    I am bringing this up because the help offered here at the WordPress.Com forums is intended to help with questions regarding content hosted at WordPress.Com. Your site is not hosted at WordPress.Com, rather at GoDaddy.

    That is known as a self-hosted, or sometimes a WordPress.Org installation.

    https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com explains the basic difference between the two entities.

    I have given you a link to the documentation for the theme you are using, and how to contact the authors for assistance. You now know that your site, not being hosted here but elsewhere, gets support form a different source.
