Redirect one wordpress site to an other wordpress site

  Hello
  I already have 1 wordpress blog
  I had to to create an other to change URL (my firm change his name)
  I would like to keep trafic and references to my previous blog and redirect my old wordpress site to my new one :
  I try to ad the new website name in “domain” (redirect offsite)but it seemss that wordpress site cannot be redirected to an other worpress site
  What should I do ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no way to redirect one wordpress.COM blog to another. Why not just buy a custom domain name for the new company and use the domain mapping upgrade? That will automatically redirect the current blog to the new custom domain name?

  Thank you for your answer
  I presume it means that I will have to ask for budget :
  – Domain mapping : 12$
  – Offsite redirect : 12$
  ie : 24 $ / year to do this with wordpress ?

  I have not tried it, but I see no reason why you couldn’t redirect from one wordpress.com domain to another. It looks as though the mapping allows for an input of an address with a subdomain on the offsite redirect help page, so you could just enter <i>mynewsite</i>.wodpress.com.

  @ineumconsulting, no. It would cost you $17 per year for domain mapping ($12) and the domain registration ($5). That would give your blog here its own domain name and URL something like, mynewcompany.com .
