Redirect RSS Feed from WordPress.com to own hosted blog

  Hi All,

  I have been looking through the information about how to move my blog from a wordpress.com hosted blog to one hosted on a commercial server. I’ve done the export/import bit, which worked fine, but I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way of automatically redirecting feed requests to the old site to the new one. I understand that this is to do with htaccess files, but that isn’t possible with wordpress.com, is it?

  Apologies if this has been asked before- I have been looking and have read all the faqs that I could find…

  Right off the top of my head, I can’t think of any either since it’s being requested of the domain.

  Would be redirected with a change in the domain record as a redirect but staff has stated that they won’t do that here.
