Redirect this site to a new wordpress.com website

  Hello, I have recently set up a new WordPress.com website and I have exported the posts from my old WordPress.com site and imported them in to the new site. I am now trying to redirect the old site to the new one mentioned above but when I use the redirect tool (Where I need to pay the $13) I get an error message saying that there is a problem with the redirect request.

  Can you please advise me on how I can redirect the pages from my old site to the new one and if it is at all possible?

  I was able to implement that redirect without a hitch.

  Can you tell me what the error message you saw was please?
