Redirect with .htaccess not working
-
Hello,
I’m changing my site url from invadingholland.com to accidentallydutch.com. I’ve already migrated the site and not have it in the two locations. I’m trying to set up redirects from the old site to the new one using the old sites .htaccess file. The redirect is not working but nothing is breaking either. There was some redirecting code already in there (in two places) for the plugin that handles the http to https redirects on my old site (added a few years ago). I guess that is interfering in some way or I’m adding my code in wrong. If anyone can tell me how to set this up I would be very grateful. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Small typo. When I said:
“I’ve already migrated the site and ‘not’ have it in the two locations.”
I meant to say:
“I’ve already migrated the site and ‘now’ have it in the two locations.”

Hi there,
Your site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
For advice on setting up these redirects, please ask in the WordPress.org community forums instead, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
WordPress.com doesn’t work exactly the same as the open source version you’re using, and we simply don’t have the expertise in this forum to help with your question :)
