Redirect within WordPress.

    Hi, I tried to search the forums but couldn’t find my particular answer. I want to redirect users from one wordpress site to another. Do I need to purchase the redirect stuff to do that or is there a way to just do that within the wordpress platform? I have an address that went out incorrectly and now many users are going to the old blog when they need to be at the new one.

    To automatically redirect them you have to buy the Site Redirect upgrade, yes. Note that this upgrade doesn’t expire and if you want you can later redirect it to a different address: http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/

    Another option is to post a message on the old blog explaining to visitors that they’re in the wrong place and which includes a link to the right blog.
