Redirect within wordpress.com site?

Is there a way to do a redirection within a wordpress.com site? I’m not wanting to redirect to an external site (previous support questions seem to refer just to this), but an internal one. At the moment I have this page:
http://laughterlog.com/merchandise/
with a link on it to go to a listing of all articles with the merchandise tag:
http://laughterlog.com/category/Merchandise/I’ve tried putting in a basic redirect in the html code, but it got stripped out, so I assume it’s not allowed.
It’d be fantastic if there was a way to do this, as it’d increase the capabilities of wordpress.com blogs!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks, I was just about to post that I have tried that, but it makes unacceptable changes to the look of the menu in the Contempt them.

@laughterlog, you need to run what you are doing past staff to make sure. In general the only things that we can sell on blogs here are things that we actually create with our own hands such as pottery, paintings, crafts, jewelery, etc.
Just to be on the safe side, contact staff and have them take a look to make sure. You wouldn’t want to put a bunch of work into the blog and then one day go to it and find that they have suspended it for a violation of the terms of service.
