Redirect wordpress.com doesn't work?

  Hi,
  I want to forward visitors who visit my wordpress.com-blog to the url of my new blog.
  When I go to the shop and the redirect-item, I can fill in my new url, but when I click on the redicrect-button, it is said “Your blog can not be redirected to this url. Check the url”.

  What can I do? I don’t understand?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you specify the domain you’re trying to use for your Site Redirect Upgrade?

  Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies, and restarting your browser? Found another user who had that issue and was able to resolve it that way.

  For future reference, that often fixes strange problems with web applications in general. Not the first thing I always try, but its definitely on my short list.
