Redirected too many times error

  I can log on and access the dashboard of WordPress for my website, but when I try to open any of the items on the menu “pages”, “posts” “plugins” etc, I get a message saying the page isn’t working, my website redirected me too many times. When this has has happened in the past, clearing my cookies and cache has helped resolve the problem, but even that isn’t working now. I’ve looked up how to resolve this issue, but struggling with the solutions because I am not techy at all – I have no knowledge of how any of this works in the background, and can’t make sense of what the solutions given are even asking me to do. So if anyone has any simple ‘solutions for dummies’ on how to resolve this, I’d be very grateful because, at the moment, I’m unable to access any part of WordPress at all, which is worrying – and not what I’m paying for!! Thanks in advance.
