redirecting a domain bought from wordpress

  Hi – I bought a domain via wordpress.com so it’s linked to our wordpress site. However I’m changing sites and getting a new setup and would like to keep the domain. Do you know how I go about getting it redirected to another server where the new site will sit?

  It’s something to do with DNS I’ve done it before but can’t remember how, and am not sure if you can do it through wordpress.com?
