redirecting blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.com

  In order to secure the future I want to:

  1 – Register a new domain name for “electrodes.wordpress.com” (“electrodes.com” is not available).
  2 – Create a new blog on wordpress with the new domain name I’ve registered.
  3 – Transfer (“copy”, “import”) ancient blog (electrodes.wordpress.com) to the new blog which has the registered domain name.

  4 – And redirect those who link to the “ancient” blog – to the new blog.

  As to “4”: What should I NOT DO in order not to screw up (if it’s an answerable question :-)?

  I’ve already registered “loupkibiloki.com” with godaddy.com. This could be the new domain name. Or something with “electrodes” in it.

  Domain Mapping

  Is there a reason why you don’t want to just map electrodes.wordpress.com to loupkibiloki.com? I’m not seeing why you want to create a new blog.
