Redirecting domain to new wesbite and deleting wordpress blod

  I need to cancel my blog. Ideally I would like to keep the domain I have puchased and use it on a new site but this seems to take 60 days to process (if I’m correct?) and I need my new site running as soon as possible. Please let me know what the best action is.

  When you get your new host – change the name servers

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Don’t delete the blog here – that takes away some options – just set the old blog to private or put a note on the old blog that you have moved and take all the content off the old blog so search engines will not see duplicate content
