Redirecting Free WordPress Blog to Domain

  I had a free wordpress blog (www.mydomain.wordpress.com)and decided to move my site to it’s own private domain (www.mydomain.com). I would like to redirect my former ‘free’ blog to my new site. How do I make this happen?

  If your new domain name is hosted at WordPress.com with the domain mapping upgrade, your old URL will be automatically redirected.

  We don’t offer a redirection service for blogs hosted elsewhere. You can write a post on your blog directing users to the new address.
