Redirecting from home.blog to .blog

Hi, I just started my blog on the free version, but I’m thinking about switching to paid plan. So, if now my domain is home.blog and after upgrading it’ll change to .blog, will there be any problems with redirecting from previous address to new one? Or maybe will it be done automatically? I already shared some posts from this version of my blog on fb and I’m afraid that those links won’t work anymore after upgrading.

Everything will just keep on working. Your site will remain exactly as it is, you’ll just be able to access it at the new address. We will automatically redirect any existing links referencing the free address to the custom domain you add.
