Redirecting my WordPress URL to a newly created Shopify URL

    Please can you explain how I can redirect my WordPress site to a new shopify site? I amended the Old URL and New URL but I think I need to amend the DNS Settings as well. How can I access the DNS settings if my thinking is correct?

    Hi there!

    To be able to point your domain elsewhere, you’d need to have a custom domain and I don’t see any on your account. I guess you’re referring to the site glassofwine.co.za, which is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with another company.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
