Redirecting RSS and Email Subscribers
-
I redirected my blog using the directions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/redirecting-your-blog/
It worked, except it didn’t switch my RSS subscribers to the new feed, even though it went from http://52kitchenadventures.wordpress.com/feed to http://www.52kitchenadventures.com/feed
Also, is there a way to redirect/transfer email subscribers? As of now, none of my subscribers (RSS or email) are receiving my posts and I’d rather not try to get all of them to resubscribe again.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are still hosted at WP.com the old feed should still work, just as the old URL should still work. Do not redirect your subscribers, although you may want to make a post (which will go out via email and RSS) about your new URL.
If you have actually moved the blog off WordPress.com, you are going to have to email them and ask them to resubscribe at the new address.

I moved off of WordPress to my own domain. Thanks for the info, I’ll go ahead and ask them to resubscribe.

You can stay on WP.com and use your own domain, as I have done. For support for independently-hosted blogs, you need to be asking at WordPress.ORG
