Redirecting site–Cost and How to do it

  Hi,
  I recently purchased a domain and would like to redirect my WordPress blog to my self-hosted one. How much will this cost me, and how do I do it? I saw the Redirect page, but I didn’t understand how to proceed with the process.

  Hi there. It looks like you may have already figured this out? When I go to http://shesonthesquare.wordpress.com/ it automatically forwards to shesonthesquare.com, which does not appear to be hosted on WordPress.com

  Can you confirm that this is the case?
