redirecting subscribed followers to new site
-
Hi! I just moved from a wordpress.com site to a new URL that is self-hosted. I wondered if anyone knew if there was a way I could direct anyone subscribed to follow my former blog to my new blog so they continue to receive emails when I post? Hopefully it’s possible! Already purchased wordpress redirect services for new clickers!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you installed and connected Jetpack yet?
If so, which WordPress.com account did you connect it to?
-
I have a plugin in there called jetpack. I didn’t do the switch, someone did it for me. So it says Jetpack for WordPress, but and it seems to be activated, but I also notice I have no way to view site stats, which seems to come with jetpack. So maybe something isn’t working?

Yes, in that case, deactivate and delete the plugin.
Then, reinstall it, activate it, and connect it to your WordPress.com account.

I activated Jetpack and configured subscriptions for comments and posts. But are the subscribers I had before I made the switch to a new web address out of luck? Will they just have to re-subscribe on the new site?
-
Not at all, I just have to transfer them for you, which I have done just now. :)
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Hello macmanx, I also need to go about transferring subscribers to a new self-hosted WordPress site. I have installed and connected Jetpack on innz.net.nz. Please could you advise how to transfer subscribers across to the new site? Thanks
