Redirecting To A Subfolder
-
Hey,
I opened up this WordPress blog a few days ago, but have since invested in my own hosting capabilities. I wish to redirect my blog to my new hosting. The trouble is, my newly-hosted blog site is in a subfolder of the new domain, and using a redirect on the base level of the domain is not an option as I have additional content there. This renders the DNS redirecting feature of WordPress useless to me. Is there any way I can redirect my WordPress blog to http://mysite.com/blogpage, and still preserve the HTTP request, e.g. http://thelonewanderer1987.wordpress.com/somearticle becomes http://mysite.com/blogpage/somearticle? This would be of great assistance to me, I might even buy the working answer’s author a pint or two!
Thanks,

WordPress does not redirect to subdirectories, but can to subdomains through the use of cname records.
