Redirecting to new URL from existing wordpress.com blog

    I have blog in wordpress.com as http://basunivesh.wordpress.com But now I purchased domain and hosting from some other providers. I moved my all existing contents to this new URL and currently using WordPress.org and themes of wordpress.org. But I am unable to re-direct my old blog to new URL. When I searched in support &Forum, I found that it is paid service for either domain mapping or domain re-direction. My question is, without payment is it not possible for us to do such re-direction?

    There is no free way to do this. You need to purchase a site redirect upgrade or all the linksto your content indexed by Google and found everywhere on the interent will be broken. Easily redirect your blogname.wordpress.com blog, and all of its permalinks, to your new domain, if you decide to leave WordPress.com. This upgrade costs $13.00 per blog, per year.
