Redirecting to WordPress?
-
I have a Sensualwriter account. Problem is, when I log into Sensualwriter, the window says, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” With the WordPress Logo displayed at the top. I have used the same name for a WordPress blog, and the same name for a Sensualwriter account name, could this be the problem? I don’t have access to the Sensualwriter due to the error messege, so no blogs have even beem made for the Sensualwriter account at all.

I’m sorry your in the wrong forum this is wordpress.COM
you need wordpress.ORG.
Here is the correct forum link. http://wordpress.org/supportWordPress.com or WordPress.org ? The difference.

I’m sorry but how am I in the ‘wrong’ forum, if I have never used wordpress.org, have downloaded anything from thier site, and my url is not .org. It’s a name.wordpress.com . Please explain? Thank you for the reply and thank you in advance! :)

I just read the link you provided, and according to that, in order to have the .org, I would have had to install and much more. The .com, is hosted and I use the options and free templates. I have no understanding of why I would need to go there to download anything, if I’m using WordPress already, right? Thank you agai and sorry for the additional post.

Please give us the exact URL of your WordPress.com blog, then. From your first post it sounds very much like you’ve got some kind of independent install. Did you read the thread teck posted?
-
I’m not understanding the question. It sounds like you’re having problems logging into your Sensualwriter account? But you’re asking on the WP.com forum? Do you have problems logging into WordPress.com?
-
Ok, here goes :
the link is suppossed to be http://flirotica.sensualwriter.com/
When you type it in, it says that “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”
Below is a screen shot ;

I do in fact have an account on sensualwriter, but it does say in that in the url link wp- , why if it is not a wordpress blog? -
Sorry, didnt see the above post. I’m on my WordPress blog account now, in order to ask for assistance on Sensualwriter, since I cannot get into that account on Sensualwriter, even in the forum. Since it redirects me to WordPress.com, in the link that I displayed in the image url above, I thought it would be best to at least ask here and if i need to change settings somehow in Wrodpress, so that it doesn’t conflict. I don’t know if i had done something wrong in WordPress, and could fix somehow. I’m new to using WordPress or SensualWriter and they seemed linked somehow. I hope the image explains what I am referring to. I am sooooo sorry to be a pain, but your efforts are very appreciated.

Like it says in the link teck posted, there is independent WordPress and then there is WordPress.com. Whoever owns sensualwriter.com has a WordPress Multi-User install. That is substantially different from our setup here and none of our answers and suggestions would apply to you.
Right at the bottom of that blog it says: My Weblog is proudly powered by WordPress MU running on Sensualwriter.com.
You will need to find the MU forums for help.

Happy birthday to her! It’s a holiday weekend, so I imagine unless something completely messes up the forums will be pretty quiet.

I have faith in the fact that somebody else is gonna have to do the heavy lifting, if heavy lifting there is to be, because I intend to spend my holiday catching up on Aaron Sorkin’s Facebook group and drinking margaritas, so it won’t be me.

It’s only a holiday weekend in the US. The rest of the world will be messing everything up as normal…
