Redirecting traffic

    Hi, if anyone could please help it would be much appreciated. I recently split my blog into four different genre-specific new blogs for easier reading. Unfortunately, I now have my old blog receiving just as much traffic as ever before due to previous seo and google page results. What are my Choices here? If I delete old stuff (as it is duplicated) it will still appear on Google but show “oops page not found” won’t it? how can I redirect all links through posts, categories and tags to my new site. I know there is an upgrade but I just want to make sure it is relevant to my issue.
    Really appreciate any help with this, I just don’t want to lose previous readers. Thanks!
