Redirecting within the blog?

  Hi ,

  Thanks for the prompt help earlier today!

  I’ve got another question a I redirect about redirects… I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now to no avail- how can I redirect within my own WordPress site? (For instance to allow my header menu to direct people to certain categories of posts and whatnot) I’ve been looking at widgets but I don’t see a tool that allows me to do that…

  For this, you’d use the Custom Menu function, which is not exactly a redirect. I’m not terribly familiar with it, but it’s not difficult to use and is extremely popular. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  Hmm- tried the steps listed there and the categories aren’t showing up in the menu…

  aha! Figured it out – I have to select which menu I want to use. Thanks rc!
