Redirectingat.com?
-
On my Stats page under “Clicks” I am suddenly seeing clicks for “wordpress.redirectingat.com.” Most of these clicks take us to books that I have mentioned (with URLs) on my blog. I do not recall “wordpress.redirectingat.com” ever being listed on the stats page.
Why is this happening? Is this supposed to be happening?
I’m using the free version of WordPress, so it’s not as if I have installed the redirectingat plug-in.
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,
WordPresscom uses Skimlinks as part of its advertising service, which is what’s causing the behaviour on your site.
If you wish to prevent that from happening, an upgrade to a paid plan would be required to remove the ads/skimlinks.

Hi akimel,
@garysixtyeight is correct — we display ads on sites using the Free plan which can sometimes include affiliate advertising such as Skimlinks. The links in your “Click” stats don’t mean anything is wrong, just that logged out visitors are clicking on affiliate links. -
