  I´ve developed a new blog in wordpress.org. I know that I have the choice to pay the redirection service to keep my SEO and to redirect all the links from my older blog in wp.com to the new one in wp.org. But, I wonder if in order to keep this redirection alive I need to keep visible my older blog supported in wp.com or if, on the contrary I could keep that blog in wp.com as a private one. On the other hand, I would like to move all my subscriptors and wp followers to my new blog and I´m not sure if I have any choice or payment service that could help me to do it. Thanks in advance.

  You can set your previous WordPress.com blog to private, and the Site Redirect will continue to function. We actually recommend this so that folks won’t sign up to follow your old site on accident.

  You can migrate your followers to the new site by using our plugin, Jetpack:
