Redirection Domain?

  I’m very new to how WordPress works, at least when it comes to anything more than posting articles, so I need someone’s help. I’d like to create my own website, which I know means buying hosting and such using WordPress.org.

  However, I already have a WordPress.com blog. I know how to export all my stuff and move it over easily if I have to, but is there a way to make the URL redirect to my new site?

  For example, my blog is anotherpotato.wordpress.com. If someone types that in, is there a way to make it simply go to my website (let’s pretend it’s google.com)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
