Redirection my old blog to my new blog

  Hello,

  As I want renamed my wordpress blog (http://….wordpress.com), I have created a new blog and will delated the old one. No problem about that, I will duplicate all my articles in the new one.

  But in case of visites to my old blog (that will be closed), can I create a link to redirected visitors to my new blog ?

  This has come up many times in the past.

  Best bet would be to empty out the sidebar and replace it with a single text widget pointin gfolks to your new blog. You may also want to choose the option to block search engines so your old blog will be dropped.
