Redirection of url on WordPress

  Hi,

  I had a WordPress account on my url domain, meaning that the account was located under http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin. I tried to edit the settings in order to transfer this website under a new domain name, however upon changing the ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ under Settings – General Tab, I can no longer access this page. Could you please help me out in order to be able to access this page again?

  This is wordpress.COM support. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
