Redirection to WordPress

  Hello,

  The non-profit organization I work with create a new website on WordPress.

  Before that, they had a website host in Senegal. I ask the web company to put a redirection toward the new website, using the Domain name they bought.

  They tell me it’s effective, but it doesn’t work. Do I have to give permission or something?

  I see two different domains registered under your account. To use a domain registered elsewhere, you would need a domain mapping upgrade. I don’t see any such upgrades under your account.

  Could you please let me know what the domain is and which WordPress.com site it should be pointing to, so I can look into this further for you?

  Hello Jackiedana,

  Yes, they have two domain name:
  – siggiljigeen.wordpress.com
  – siggiljigeen.org

  The main one is the second one. They bought it with WordPress services. I want that the old website (www.siggiljigeen.sn) point to siggiljigeen.org

  Ah, okay. You have registered siggiljigeen.org with us.

  To use siggiljigeen.sn as well, you will need to purchase the domain mapping upgrade for that domain, and then update the nameservers with that domain registrar to point to WordPress.com. The steps are outlined here:
