Redirection upgrade, redirect everything?

  Hi!

  I’m about to move from lgambassadoren.wordpress.com to my own domain. If I buy the redirect upgrade, export my blog and import it to the new site, will all links to specific posts redirect to that post on the new site or just the home page?

  Provided your do NOT change the permalink structure on your WordPress.ORG install and retain exactly the same permalink structure your WordPress.COM blog has the redirect between all URLs will be seamless.

  All links will move from:

  lgambassadoren.wordpress.com/2015/02/14/tellstick-net-ansluta-sensor/

  to

  xxxxxxxx.se/2015/02/14/tellstick-net-ansluta-sensor/

  Will that work?

  I’m new at this so I just probably don’t get it.

  The links above are just examples and all my posts have that structure. The permalinks shouldn’t change. Atleast what I can figure out.
  I’m just going to import it as it is.

  I’ve already subscribed to the thread, thanks anyway! :)

  lgambassadoren.wordpress.com/2015/02/14/tellstick-net-ansluta-sensor/
  to
  xxxxxxxx.se/2015/02/14/tellstick-net-ansluta-sensor/

  should work. Please note that the permalink structure must remain the same for it to work.

  That isn’t the default permalink structure with WordPress.org (you can edit it to your desire there), but if you want the pages to redirect from your WordPress.com site, you would have to keep the same permalink structure.
