Redirections wordpress.com pages to self hosted website pages

  Hi,

  I have a wordpress.com website with several pages and posts. And, I would need to redirect each of these pages and posts urls to new urls on a self hosted website.

  Example :
  https://mysite.wordpress.com/stages/
  Should redirect to
  http://www.mynewsite.com/signes/en-france/

  I cannot use the main redirect tool from WordPress.com because it does not work for page, it is for main domain only.
  Is there another tool that I can use to configure these redirections?

  A solution would be to redirect mysite.wordpress.com to http://www.mynewsite.com and then put an htaccess on http://www.mynewsite.com/ to redirect /stages/ to http://www.mynewsite.com/signes/en-france/.

  But as it creates two 301 redirections, I don’t know what would be the impact for SEO.

  The Site Redirect upgrade will let you redirect your site and all of your permalinks. Please see this page for more information:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/

  It does indeed work for Pages and posts, as long as the permalink structure is the same. If the permalink structure changes, as in your example, it will not work and there is no “custom redirect” available that will work as far as I am aware.
