Redirects & Mapping

  Is it possible to redirect urls to wordpress.com from an old blog and map old links to new ones in wordpress.com. I know there are restrictions on this but are there plug’ins or any way around it?

  Hello Mary, let me understand… when you refer to “from an old blog”

  Is this a blog you still have control over ?

  Assuming yes what platform is it on?

  Is it self hosted?

  Yes I still have control. It’s on blogger then I moved to sq space but because of the Url issue and other reasons I’ve moved to wp.

  An example of the url is http://www.hopinteriors.com/2013/08/top-tips-for-your-living-space.html

  How many articles and or how many posts do you have to redirect or export?

  Have you seen these options for exporting your old posts:

  Squarespace Export

  And blogger export

  It may be easier to recreate via import and then just carry on.
