Redirects Stopped Working
-
Awhile back I removed the the dates and .html from my permalinks and set-up redirects in my ht.access file. They have been working fine until today.
The redirects I used were:
RedirectMatch 301 ^/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})/(?!page/)(.+)$ https://www.smileandconquer.com/$3RedirectMatch 301 ^(.*).html $1
Now my homepage is redirecting from http://www.smileandconquer.com to http://www.smileandconquer.com/index and getting a ‘Page Not Found Error’. If I remove the redirects it goes back to working but obviously the old links with dates no longer redirect. Any ideas why this would suddenly stop working?
