Reduce blank lines before and after block quote
-
I use the markup “blockquote” a lot (for citing other texts). My theme is Twenty Twelve. My problem is the excessive blank lines that are placed before and after the quote. How can I reduce the number of them?

Hi, I’ve looked around your site and not been able to find a blockquote. Can you point me to a location where you have a blockquote so I can take a look?

Arggghh. I should have been specific. Didn’t mean to cause anyone to go hunting for an example – apologies. Here’s an example: Navigate to … menu>Proust>The Buds in The Grove … scroll down some.

Thanks @thesacredpath !
On the topic of inserting images in the menu, I had a look for inserting images, it seems that content:url is more ‘flexible’ than background-image because it works better with position:relative and top:Npx
Good night !

Yeah, that is true, using background is more work, but it is also more cross-platform browser compliant. Firefox only recognizes content declarations if they are in a pseudo class rule (:before or :after). Safari and Chrome (webkit based browsers) will allow you to use content without the pseudo class, which makes things even more easy. I suppose one day Firefox will catch up. :)
