Reduce blank lines in footer?
-
When I added a footer 2 text widget (copyright text), it comes with an extra blank line above and 2 blank lines below it.
I did not put any blank lines in my footer text. If I delete all characters from the text widget, the 2 blank lines under it shrinks to one line. As soon as I type one letter into the text widget, an extra blank line appears under it.
Can I make this more compact, like no blank lines in the footer, and center align the wordpress credit so that it is right below the copyright text?

Forgot to mention I have the personal plan, one tier above free. I don’t think I can edit css.

Hi there,
To reduce the widget’s margins you’ll need to use some CSS code which is a feature of the Premium and Business plans.
If you upgrade to one of those plans I can gladly provide you with the necessary CSS code to make that adjustment.
