reduce space between lines in text Twenty Eleven
-
1. CSS to make space between text lines smaller
2. CSS to make main column wider and right sidebar narrower
3. CSS to remove ‘comment bubble’ and have a box for comments below each post. It seems that this would make it possible to have a wider content area without encroaching on side bar.
4. CSS to remove word ‘IMAGE’ on posts that are image onlyI have tried to find these CSS in the Forum and have not been able to.
Thank you for your assistance

in all the text/posts i want the lines tighter together.
the second example (“this moment”) you asked about the wider spacing is due to double spacing on my part. If the overall spacing of the lines is tighter then i imagine that the double spacing won’t be so wide and will look more balanced to me.I haven’t yet checked out the codes you gave me.
Thank you for your help

I put in the codes and i like the way it looks.
Now that the comment bubble has been removed is it possible to make the main part extend more to the right without pushing the sidebar off the page?
One thing about taking out the comments bubble is that now i can’t see if there are comments and there is no ‘comment’ widget that i can find.
When people see my posts do they see a place to add comments at the bottom of a post? I am not seeing this. From my end now there is no visible ‘comment’ area.
How/where do i access comments that people leave? -
On another note…. can you help me understand why some of my posts are ‘publicized’ on FaceBook – at least i can see them on my news feed and others aren’t. I am puzzled by this. The last two images i posted aren’t showing up on my news feed.
Also … I started ‘following’ my blog so i could see what the emails look like when they come in and my 2 posts that contain only images show the ‘title’ and no image. How do i get the email to show content?
The ‘Wordless Wednesday’ emails i get from blogs i follow show the images in the email. -
This style controls the spacing between post text and summary text. 20px is arbitrary. Adjust as per your preference.
.entry-content, .entry-summary { line-height: 20px; }there is no ‘comment’ widget that i can find.
Did you check Recent Comments widget?

The posts I receive in my email from other blogs does show the images.
What is For each article in a feed, show set to in your Settings > Reading ?
Also some email clients won’t display images by default unless you tell them to. This could be the case for you?
Regarding Facebook, you can check Publicize: setting in the Publish panel of the Add New Post screen.

I checked on this for ammasarati and found that option is set to “Full text” for the http://dancingtothewords.com/ blog.

I think you’re on the right track with this suggestion. I tested WordPress.com email using my test blog just now, and the images come through normally for me. I agree that checking the email client’s image settings would be a good next step.
