Reducing header height in Independent Publisher Theme

  I’m trying to determine if I can customize this theme for a shorter header height. Is it possible through CSS editing?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Give this a shot to set the padding to be slightly less tall for desktop viewers:

  @media screen and (min-width: 62em) {
    #hero-header {
      padding: 6vh 40px;
    }
  }
