Is it possible to reduce the width of the side columns to have a wider area for blog and reduce scrolling
I previewed other themes (I am using Nuntius) but most have as much free space around the main panel. I don’t see a setting to reduce the width.. Please adviseThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

They only way to change widths of any theme is via a custom design upgrade and CSS editing. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable custom and CSS editing:

Thanks, it sounds a bit complicated so before I go to that much trouble I must check to see if people are generally accessing the site via PC or phone. If by phone then I don’t think this would make any difference so would not be worth the effort.

I use a responsive layout theme on my blogs. See here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/
Responsive layout means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

The mobile theme is a completely different theme and when we use responsive layout themes we go here > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme.

Thanks for your feedback, I have changed this to resolved as not much more I can do other than change the theme if I decide it is better.
