Reducing white space

    Hi…I am using the Dara theme and would like to reduce the amount of white space at the top of the home page. Is there any way to do this?

    Hey Roxanne,

    I will try to help you with this. The white space you are talking about is the padding given to the image. I understand it feels like the space isn’t getting utilised to the fullest. You can get rid of spaces by CSS Customisation.
    Sadly, WordPress.com free plan doesn’t include CSS Customisation. If you plan to upgrade it to Premium or Business plans then here’s the solution.

    Add this code snippet and the white space above will be reduced.

    .site-branding {
    padding : 0px 0 36px;
    }
