referral to your other blogsite/s
-
I have a ‘main’ blog site up now – but somewhere on it I want my (invited) readers to see that I have 2 other blog sites they may also like to look at (or follow).
In the meantime I’ve done this manually – by adding a referral note of my own at the bottom of my 1st blog (on main site).
But I’d really prefer such a referral to be WordPress-directed on each blog I do & feel their there must be a way to do that. Can you help?

Hi there, I’m not entirely certain I understand what you mean by “WordPress-directed.” Can you explain a little more?
Since your site is marked Private, please also let us know what theme you are using.
Some ideas to get you started would be to add links to your main site’s navigation bar to your other sites. You can do that by adding the links in a Custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Another option if your theme supports sidebar widgets is to add the Display WordPress posts widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/display-wordpress-posts/ although I am uncertain whether this would work on a Private site.

Thanks so much Jennifer for looking into my question.
I think you’ve inadvertently answered what I meant by “WordPress-directed”… I meant using the facilities already set up and available on WordPress, as a WordPress user/member, that might accomplish a website task you want to do for your readers – without you having to do it manually every time you post.
I apologise that my site being marked “Private” seems to have caused problems for people like you trying to help me ! (hmmm… that could explain why my last forum question didn’t get fully resolved – becauses I WAS “Hidden” .. then panicked & went to “Private”).
I’m looking to change that back now if that will help me with forum attention which, being a baby-beginner, I am surely going to need again! My initial “Theme” – when I very first set up this main blogsite, was one called “Penscript”. It seems that’s no longer available now, so my other 3 blogsites that I wish to refer to are a different Theme. This may sound silly, but I’m not sure what their Theme is .. It was (I think) the only one available for me with a “free” site, or rhat was “free”; but not a name I can remember. I shall do my homework on that.
Your talk of “widgets” terrifies me, to be honest (I studied the WP tutorial but still didnt get it). But I WILL follow through with the link you’ve provided anyway ..and consider the Private site factor again with that – thank you.
Finally, your topic about adding a LINK sounds like it might be the answer for me. I’m just not sure yet where my “navigation bar” is (I’m so green!) – and, of course, I am trying to do all this on my little s/phone; but I will folow up on your link to: ADDING LINKS IN A CUSTOM MENU – thank you so much.

You’re welcome and you don’t need to make your site Public in order to receive assistance here. If you still have questions let me know and I will tag this thread for Staff attention as they can see every site on WordPressdotcom including Private sites.
You can see what theme your site is using by opening your site’s Themes dashboard at https://wordpress.com/themes/wendywuzblog.wordpress.com and it will be mentioned at the top of that screen. You can switch between your current sites over at the top left and note what theme is mentioned for each site.
Let us know if you have any other question.
