Referrer spam

  I need to report referrer spam. I went here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/regarding-referrer-spam?replies=1
  But couldn’t figure out how to report it.

  Hi there,
  Are you aware that referrer spam issues are not usually discussed on public forums? Think about that because everyone who is on the internet can access this forum and that includes spammers.

  What Staff need is the URL and here’s the way to send it to them. Email support @ wordpress.com (without the spaces required to make the email address display here in this thread).

  Thank you for the e-mail. I was aware that spam is not spoken of in public, but as I said in my message I searched for how to report it and could not find it. After a couple hours of always winding back up in the support forums I was frustrated and upset so I decided to ask. I am sorry if I did something wrong, but I could not find anywhere else to get help.

  Oh my, I wasn’t aware of that! I really appreciate the help and also for linking me to that post. Now I understand a bit more why I kept ending up in the same place and I don’t feel as stupid. :)

  You are not stupid. There are legions of pissed off bloggers who have been sent in circles due to the crazymaking loopback links. Some have been so PO’d that they left WordPress.com because of it.
