Referrer stats

  My wordpress referral stats show facebook when I actuall didn’t post any link on facebook. I did share my site link on twitter but instead of twitter it is showing Facebook & I don’t know why is that happening. Any reason?

  Hi sabdegul,

  My wordpress referral stats show facebook when I actuall didn’t post any link on facebook.

  Although you haven’t shared the post on Facebook, someone else may have linked to it in one of their Facebook updates. If one of their followers clicked the link and visited your site to read the post, Facebook would be listed in your referrer stats.

  I did share my site link on twitter but instead of twitter it is showing Facebook

  Looking at your stats, I can see both Twitter and Facebook in your referrers list.
