Referrer Went Missing
-
Hi There,
I accidentally managed to make a referrer disappear from my stats (it was hometalk.com) I can’t see an option to undo whatever I had done to make it disappear – it is definitely not spam and I would like it in my list of referrers.
Thank you!

Hi, I think I’m having the same problem.
Could you please check if any referrer is tagged as spam for my site howbizz.com ?
Indeed, I can’t see any of the trafficmonsoon.com domain referrers.
Thanks for your help. -
@zarfh
There are no refferers marked as spam on your site. But trafficmonsoon.com is a pay-for-traffic site and the way those sites “send” traffic to your site is by running your site in an iframe on other site. We only count a view if someone actually loads your site in an active browser tab, not if it’s loaded inside an iframe, so no visits from that site will be counted in your stats. -
Thanks for the answer !
Is it a new feature?
Indeed, I saw few weeks/months ago trafficmonsoon referrers…
Also, visitors from this site appear on the different counters, it’s just on the referrers part that I don’t see them. -
It really depends on how the visitors get to your site. If they actually open your site then the views will still be counted, but it won’t necessarily show in the referrers section.
It’s also possible that trafficmonsoon.com changed something on their end that’s preventing us from seeing where the traffic is coming from. But there’s no way to tell if that’s the case from this end.
