referrer/advertisement

  Outside referrer. I checked my stat and I have this one referrer that I don’t know exactly how (http://www.alexa.com/site/linksin/writershavenarticles.wordpress.com) , a company about internet ranking got to do with my account. I’m not sure how it can affect my blogsite(bad or good). Also, upon checking the site, there is an WP account, that pingback one of my post and I noticed that, this account running an advertisement/banner (not sure exactly, if that qualifies as an advertisement ) on the page under http://writershavenarticles.wordpress.com/, is that ok?

  To WP staff/moderator, it wasn’t my intention to post a public forum post and I don’t have any intentions to jeopardize other members. Please delete this or change it to private question if possible or whatever you need to do if you think my concerns should not be in public forum.

  Alexa is legitimate they sell web site ranking services and rank many many sites – nothing wrong with them

  If a site has advertising they are in violation of the Terms of Service and their site is at risk to be suspended

  Neither has anything to do with your site
