Referrers

Hi, I’m a little confused with my referrers. I have referrers from Instagram (because I put the link to my blog on my profile) which makes sense to me, but I also noticed I have a referrer from Facebook, which I do not have an account on. How do I have a referrer from Facebook if I do not have one? Sorry if this is a silly question! Thanks for your time.

Not a silly question at all! It could be possible that one of your readers posted a link to your site on his/her Facebook page, allowing other Facebook users to visit your site from there. This is common if someone found something intriguing and wanted to share the information on your blog. It is also possible that this is a spam referrer. If you’d rather not see this site on your list of referrers, you can mark it as spam and report it by following this guide:
