Referrers?

  So I was wondering what exactly Referrers are, I keep seeing under stats that their are what appear to be links. I’ve clicked on them before and they take me to a blog that has absolutely has nothing to do with what I write about. There doesn’t appear to be any links to me on there, but everyday for at least a month now they’ve appeared under stats. Is there any way to get rid of them? Thank You.

  I know it was brought up in the forums before abut referrals showing up where the site had no visible linkage back to the blog. So I recommend contacting staff directly for this matter http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
