Referrers and total visits not jiving

  Ok, I have a question for all of you out there! The number of visits in my “referrers” section doesn’t add up to the total number I have for the day. How are people finding my site and their reference point not registering? Please excuse me if I confuse you but I’m not sure of the lingo for this. :-)

  I don’t show up in the referral stats for most blogs I visit. I type them into the browser and go. No referrer at all.
