referring to links duration of polls

    Dear Mrs, Mr,

    I do have 2 questions about our blog (theme: luxury travels), which we have been preparing this month (so much fun!) and plan to launch in February.

    – We put a lot of links in the website that will bring (hopefully interested) readers to other websites of hotels and airliners and so on. Right now, when you click these links, the website does not open in a new window, while I would prefer it to have that website open in a new window (e.g. click on airlines). How can I change these settings ?

    – We also put a lot of polls in the blog, so that (again, hopefully interested) readers can share their opinion about their favorite spots the world. While we always choose the polls to be valid for ever, every time we edit them, it states that they will end in one week time. How can we make sure that poll results will not disappear and indeed remain valid for ever ?

    You can do this by editing the link. Select the link again, and click on link button at the top of the editor. Then this box will show up:

    Please check off “Open link in a new window/tab”. Unfortunately, there’s no way to automate this and must be done for every link.

    It looks like you are creating polls from Polldaddy.com. Currently in the Advanced Settings the polls shouldn’t close if you set it to “Keep Open” as seen in the screenshot below:
